ReplyDeleteHillary: To answer your question, I'm a big fan of stalking Craigslist. Mark calls me a Craigslist maniac. Just get on the mission and don't back down. Put in your location and price, save that link in your "favorites," and then keep refreshing all day long and call/email as soon as you find a place worth seeing and try to see it ASAP (before someone else snags it). We found this place in 7 days, but I was calling and seeing places for 7 days before that -- and by that time I was able to tell what was good/bad, what we liked/disliked, the dealbreakers, etc -- esp since I was searching for 2 different tastes. Hope this helps!
Did you notice how your positive outlook came through in those pictures? I've never seen you take so many pictures of peaceful views, flowers, hedges!! PS... totally jealous of that book nook.
